Feel free to give us a call to discuss your refinishing needs. After answering a few simple questions, we should be able to give you a more accurate time frame.
What if the surface to be refinished is damaged?
That won’t be a problem. One of the major reasons for refinishing is due to some type of damage to the surface. Part of our refinishing process is to repair any type of damage. Feel free to contact us for a professional opinion!
What type of repairs do you do?
We fix all types of damage, to a wide variety of different surfaces. Scratches, discoloration, cracks, chips, rust, pitting, dull spots, cuts, burns and any other kind of damage can be repaired to look just like new!
Will the new finish look like the original?
Absolutely! The refinishing process that we use is exactly the same as the process used in the factory – delivering a “like new” finish.
Is the tub reglazing surface durable?
The normal wear rate is comparable to the original surface. With proper care and maintenance, bathtub refinishing can last 10-15 years or more.
Do I have to use the same color?
Not at all! Any surface can be refinished to look like porcelain, stone or granite, in any color that you choose.
What colors do you offer?
Prestige Refinishing offers all the standard colors, in addition to any custom color you choose. We also offer custom finishes, such as stone or granite, in a variety of different colors.
If you choose a stone or granite finish – for kitchen countertops or bathroom vanities, for instance – we offer the following color selections:
Can I do my own refinishing?
If you’re dead set on refinishing your own bathtub, we’re not going to stop you. But we also strongly advise against it. The DIY kits from the big box home improvement stores usually fail within just a few short months, and you’ll be right back at square one. Most of them consist of an epoxy coating that is either rolled or brushed on the surface, or even sprayed on with an aerosol – causing uneven coverage, drips, and brush marks. That “like new” finish can only be achieved with well-trained refinishing experts using professional equipment and quality products.
How much money can I save by refinishing vs. replacement?
Replacing your bathtub, sink, shower, kitchen countertops, tile or vanity could run into the thousands of dollars. But refinishing them would only cost a few hundred – a fraction of the cost!
Is it possible to fix chips or cracks?
Absolutely! Won’t it be great to have them repaired?
